Libas has entered the jewellery category, expanding beyond its core apparel business as the Indian fashion brand looks to build a wider product portfolio.
The brand has launched a collection of 100+ jewellery styles, including jewellery sets, mangalsutras, necklaces and chains, bangles and earrings. Priced between R 399 and Rs 1,299, the range includes gold-plated, silver-plated and oxidised jewellery, with anti-tarnish finishes.
The collection is currently available through Libas’ website, app and leading marketplaces. The brand plans to introduce the jewellery range at its exclusive brand outlets in a subsequent phase.
The category is being positioned around festive and wedding occasions, allowing Libas to participate in a wider part of consumers’ occasion-wear spending beyond clothing. Jewellery also gives the brand an adjacent category that naturally connects with its existing fashion offering.
The move comes after Libas’ recent entry into fragrances and marks another step in its expansion into categories beyond apparel. With jewellery now added to its portfolio, the brand is looking to build a broader fashion and lifestyle proposition while leveraging its existing digital and retail presence.
Sidhant Keshwani, Founder & CEO, Libas, said, “Libas has always been built around a deep understanding of the Indian consumer and how fashion is evolving across occasions. Our entry into jewellery is a natural progression of that vision, but more importantly, it reflects our ambition to build Libas as a larger fashion business.”
He further added, “As we expand into new categories, our focus will remain on creating strong consumer relevance while building businesses that can scale over the long term.”
