Nokia has appointed Kanika Bedi as its Regional Communications Manager for India, where she will lead the company’s media relations efforts across the country. The appointment marks Bedi’s return to the telecom sector, where she began her corporate communications career.
Announcing the move on LinkedIn, Bedi wrote, “Some journeys have a way of bringing you back to where they began. I’m excited to share that I have joined Nokia as Regional Communications Manager, leading media relations for India. My career began in telecom, and returning at a time when AI-powered connectivity is transforming the industry feels especially meaningful.”
Before joining Nokia, Bedi spent nearly two years at PersonaKraft as a Corporate Communication Strategist and Employee Advocacy Trainer, where she designed communication workshops and advised founders, CXOs and senior executives on thought leadership, corporate communications and personal branding.
A communications professional with more than 16 years of experience, Bedi has held leadership roles across several global organisations. Prior to PersonaKraft, she served as Corporate Communications Lead at Reckitt, overseeing communications across India and South Asia. Earlier, she spent over five years at The Coca-Cola Company in multiple communications and sustainability roles and nearly five years at Ericsson, where she managed media relations and corporate communications.
In her new role, Bedi will be responsible for strengthening Nokia’s media relations strategy in India as the company continues to focus on AI-powered connectivity and the evolving digital infrastructure landscape.
