Kshitij Oza has been elevated to Executive Director at Nomura, where he will oversee global initiatives related to artificial intelligence in risk management and AI risk governance across the organisation.

Oza has been associated with Nomura for more than 11 years, joining the company as Associate in December 2014. Over the years, he progressed through multiple leadership roles across market risk, credit risk and AI driven risk management functions.
Most recently, he served as Vice President and Global Head of AI and Automation for Risk Management from October 2023 to April 2026, leading enterprise AI implementation initiatives across credit, market and operational risk functions.
Prior to that, he worked as Vice President Credit Risk Management from June 2022 to February 2024 and as Vice President and Head of Credit Risk Middle Office India from June 2019 to May 2022. Earlier, he served as Vice President and Head of Market Risk Middle Office India from January 2018 to May 2019, Assistant Vice President from August 2016 to December 2017, Senior Associate from January 2016 to August 2016 and Associate from December 2014 to December 2015.
Before joining Nomura, Oza worked at Bank of America as Senior Business Associate from August 2010 to November 2014, focusing on analytics and credit risk technology. Earlier, he was a Trainee at NSE IT from October 2008 to April 2009.
