Protein is no longer just something people associate with gyms and fitness enthusiasts. It has quietly become part of everyday eating habits, showing up in everything from snacks and desserts to coffee and cold beverages. As more consumers look for simple ways to add protein to their diets, brands are finding new ways to blend nutrition into products people already enjoy.
That trend is driving the latest collaboration between SuperYou and Starbucks. After seeing strong demand earlier this year, the two brands have expanded their partnership with the launch of Vanilla Protein Cold Foam and Mango Protein Cold Foam beverages. Each drink contains up to 18 grams of protein, offering a different take on the usual café order.
Actor and SuperYou co founder Ranveer Singh features in the campaign, but the bigger story is how protein is moving into categories where consumers least expect it. Coffee has long been a daily ritual for many people, and adding a nutritional element to that routine feels like a natural next step.
The launch also arrives at a time when cold beverages are in high demand, with the mango variant likely to appeal to consumers looking for a familiar summer flavour with an added protein boost.
Speaking about his love for coffee and the collaboration, Ranveer Singh shared, “Coffee has always been more than just a beverage for me, it’s been a ritual. Starbucks signature Iced Shaken Espresso is bold, smooth, and full of character, and adding SuperYou’s vanilla protein cold foam is the perfect upgrade. I’m excited for people across the country to try it, customize it, and make it their own.”
