India’s instant home services segment has reached another milestone, with ‘Snabbit’ and ‘Urban Company’s Insta Help’ each crossing 100,000 completed orders in a single day. The achievement highlights the rapid expansion of a category that is increasingly attracting urban consumers looking for on-demand household assistance.

The latest milestone comes at a time when competition in the space is intensifying. Alongside Snabbit and Insta Help, rival platform Pronto has also been scaling its operations, reflecting growing consumer demand for quick, app-based home services across major Indian cities.

Instant Home Services Race Picks Up Pace

Snabbit said it now completes more than 115,000 jobs every day across its network. The company currently operates in 10 cities and over 150 micromarkets, supported by more than 25,000 service professionals. It also reported completing 4 million household service jobs during the June quarter.

Urban Company said its Insta Help service crossed the 100,000 delivered orders mark on August 2, just five months after reaching the 50,000 daily orders milestone. The company noted that while the milestone reflects growing adoption, long-term growth will depend on customer retention, service quality and supply availability.

Competition Shifts Beyond Customer Acquisition

The milestone follows a strong July for the category. According to industry data, Urban Company’s Insta Help, Snabbit and Pronto together processed nearly 5 million orders during the month, underlining the pace at which instant home services are expanding in India.

The market has also witnessed aggressive customer acquisition efforts, including limited-time promotional pricing by leading players.

As the category matures, the focus is expected to gradually move from attracting new users through discounts to improving operational efficiency, retaining customers and building sustainable business models.
