Husain Dewaswala has been elevated to Director – Marketing, Programs and Alliances at Tech Data APAC, where he will lead marketing strategy, partner programs and alliance initiatives across the region.

He has been associated with Tech Data APAC for more than 11 years. Most recently, he served as Associate Director – Marketing, Program and Alliances from May 2023 to May 2026. Prior to that, he worked as Senior Manager Marketing, Alliances and Programs from January 2015 onwards, supporting partner engagement and go to market initiatives.
During his tenure, Tech Data expanded significantly following the acquisition of Avnet Technology Solutions in 2017, strengthening its global IT distribution and solutions business across multiple markets.
Before joining Tech Data, Dewaswala worked at Avnet Technology Solutions as Senior Specialist Solution Sales from August 2007 to December 2014, focusing on virtualisation technologies and enterprise solutions.
Earlier in his career, he held leadership and technical roles at Fiona Infosystems as AGM Enterprise Solutions from October 2002 to August 2007, KS Softnet Solutions as Manager Technical Services from August 2001 to September 2002, Cyberspace Infosys as Technical Specialist from January 1999 to March 2000 and Total Infotech Solutions as Senior Customer Support Executive from April 1996 to January 1999.
