Tilak Amitava Chowdhury has joined Angelique International Limited as Deputy General Manager (DGM) – Corporate Communications.
Chowdhury moves to Angelique International with more than 15 years of experience in corporate communications, having worked across sectors including infrastructure, pharmaceuticals, BPO and auto ancillaries. His most recent role was with AECOM, where he served as Senior Manager – Marketing and Communications.
In his new role, Chowdhury will be responsible for strengthening Angelique International’s corporate communications and storytelling efforts, with a focus on the company’s business and leadership narratives.
Before joining Angelique International, Chowdhury was associated with AECOM as Senior Manager – Marketing and Communications. His experience at the infrastructure consulting and engineering company adds to his understanding of communications in the infrastructure space.
His career, however, has extended beyond infrastructure, spanning communications mandates across pharmaceuticals, BPO and auto ancillary businesses. This cross-sector experience is expected to inform his new mandate at Angelique International.
Chowdhury has also been active in conversations around corporate and employee communications. In a LinkedIn post last year, he discussed employee advocacy as a component of employer branding, highlighting the role employees can play as credible voices for an organisation.
At Angelique International, Chowdhury’s mandate will include building the company’s corporate narrative and communications around its business and leadership.
