What began as a student-led protest over the alleged NEET 2026 paper leak has now grown into one of the country’s most closely watched public movements. For weeks, students have continued their demonstrations at Delhi’s Jantar Mantar, demanding greater transparency and accountability in the examination system. The protest has since drawn nationwide attention, with citizens, public figures responding in different ways as support for the movement continues to grow.
The move came after Jantar Mantar had, over the past few days, emerged as an unusual food delivery destination, with people from different parts of India and even overseas placing prepaid food orders addressed simply to the protest site.
As seen in several videos shared on social media platforms, delivery partners were reportedly instructed to hand over the food to anyone present at the protest site rather than a specific recipient.

However, videos circulating on social media on Wednesday night showed users unable to place fresh orders, with the location appearing unavailable on both Swiggy and Zomato. While neither platform commented on the temporary disruption, the location was accessible for delivery on both apps at the time of publishing.
Over the past few days, the protest site has witnessed a steady stream of deliveries, ranging from pizzas, burgers and tea to full meals and groceries. According to multiple reports, delivery executives completed repeated trips to the venue, with some orders being placed anonymously by supporters from cities across India and even from abroad
Additionally, videos shared by multiple people appeared to show that these food delivery apps stopped accepting orders to Jantar Mantar last night, with users reporting that the location could no longer be selected for delivery.
