Voltas Beko, the home appliances joint venture between Voltas and Arçelik, has launched its new brand campaign, ‘Sense Toh Banta Hai’, positioning practical innovation and everyday value at the centre of its communication.
The campaign features actor Manoj Pahwa in a series of digital films for the brand’s refrigerator and washing machine categories. Using humour and familiar household situations, the films aim to communicate product benefits in a more relatable manner while reinforcing the brand’s proposition around making smarter appliance choices.
The campaign marks the next phase of Voltas Beko’s broader brand movement, which has included consumer activations across key markets. With the new digital films, the brand is extending the proposition to a wider audience.
The new campaign builds on Voltas Beko’s earlier product-led communication, including its ‘Tested by Real Moms’ platform. While the earlier proposition placed emphasis on products being tested against the everyday demands of Indian households, the new campaign broadens the conversation to the decision-making process itself.
According to the brand, appliance purchases are increasingly influenced by multiple members of a household. While homemakers continue to play a central role, partners, parents and younger family members are also involved in researching, evaluating and influencing purchase decisions.
‘Sense Toh Banta Hai’ is therefore positioned as a communication platform for the wider household rather than a single consumer group. The campaign seeks to use everyday humour and familiar situations to make product features and innovations easier to understand.
The campaign’s central thought is built around the idea that consumers should not have to navigate complicated marketing terminology to identify whether an appliance offers genuine value.
The refrigerator film focuses on everyday expectations around food freshness, while the washing machine communication highlights performance and the role of appliances in managing everyday household needs. Manoj Pahwa’s presence gives the films a conversational and humorous tone while allowing the brand to communicate these product propositions through relatable situations.
Commenting on the launch, Nirpesh Agarwal, Chief Executive Officer, Voltas Beko, said “Indian consumers are among the smartest and most discerning in the world. They look for products that deliver real value, and that is exactly what we are committed to offering world-class quality, meaningful innovation and exceptional value. But being a smart consumer shouldn’t mean having to navigate layers of marketing jargon to make a choice.
With ‘Sense Toh Banta Hai’, we are cutting through that noise and bringing the conversation back to what really matters: the experience a product delivers in everyday life. A refrigerator that keeps food genuinely fresh. A washing machine that delivers outstanding performance. Appliances that are thoughtfully engineered for Indian homes and built to deliver lasting value.
