Zydus Lifesciences has launched the second edition of its #LiverKiSuno awareness campaign on Global Fatty Liver Day to raise awareness of liver health and the risks associated with fatty liver disease.
The campaign focuses on the growing prevalence of fatty liver disease, a condition that often goes undetected in its early stages due to the lack of visible symptoms. Through the initiative, the company aims to encourage people to pay closer attention to liver health, undergo timely screenings, and seek medical advice when required.
The campaign highlights common metabolic risk factors linked to liver disease, including diabetes, excess body weight, and high triglyceride levels. To communicate this message, the campaign features actor Ashish Vidyarthi, known for his portrayal of villainous characters in films. The campaign draws a parallel between on-screen villains and hidden health risks that can silently affect liver health.
The campaign film was developed and produced by TheSmallBigIdea, which handled the creative, production, and post-production work. It is being promoted across digital and social media platforms, including YouTube, Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, and X.
As part of the initiative, Zydus is encouraging people, especially those with diabetes, obesity, or elevated triglyceride levels, to discuss liver health with healthcare professionals and consider including liver scans as part of routine health checkups.
