Instamart Brings Dagdusheth & Siddhivinayak Temple Prasad To Doorsteps This Ganesh Chaturthi

Swiggy Instamart is bringing prasad from Pune’s Shreemant Dagdusheth Halwai Ganpati Temple and Mumbai’s Shri Siddhivinayak Temple to devotees’ doorsteps this Ganesh Chaturthi.

The initiative allows devotees to order prasad associated with the two prominent Ganesh temples through Instamart, combining a traditional festive offering with the convenience of quick commerce.

The move comes as Ganesh Chaturthi celebrations get underway across India, with devotees traditionally visiting temples and pandals, participating in prayers and seeking blessings during the festival.

Through the initiative, Instamart is making prasad from Dagdusheth Halwai Ganpati Temple in Pune and Shri Siddhivinayak Ganapati Temple in Mumbai available on its platform.

The partnership gives devotees who may not be able to visit the temples in person an option to receive the prasad at home during the festival.

The initiative also reflects how quick-commerce platforms are increasingly expanding their festive offerings beyond everyday grocery and household essentials, incorporating products and experiences that are closely connected to cultural occasions.

Ganesh Chaturthi is one of India’s major festive occasions, particularly in Maharashtra, where the celebrations around Mumbai’s Siddhivinayak Temple and Pune’s Dagdusheth Ganpati are significant cultural touchpoints.

By bringing prasad from both temples onto Instamart, the platform is using its delivery network to connect devotees with offerings that carry religious and cultural significance.

The initiative is part of Instamart’s wider festive strategy, where convenience-led delivery is being positioned around seasonal needs and occasions rather than being limited to routine purchases.
