Bollywood actor Randeep Hooda is entering the wellness space, not as a brand face, but as an investor. Hooda has backed TeinPro, a new Indian health food brand that has launched its first protein bar, signalling a growing shift of celebrities moving beyond endorsements into businesses aligned with everyday lifestyle needs.

TeinPro’s bar is built to offer a convenient way to add quality protein without sacrificing taste or familiarity. The brand describes the product as suitable for multiple occasions between meals, post-workout, during long office hours or even as a healthier dessert option.

For Hooda, the investment is rooted in alignment rather than visibility. Known for physically demanding roles in films such as Sarbjit, Sultan, Highway and Swatantrya Veer Savarkar, the actor’s disciplined approach to fitness and nutrition mirrors the brand’s philosophy of balance and adequacy over excess.

“What I love about TeinPro is that it doesn’t treat protein as only a gym or workout thing, it’s wholesome and is crafted keeping Indian lifestyle, our eating habits and the nutrition gaps in mind.” Hooda said.

“As an actor, I have always tried to back characters and my work with honesty and wanted to bring the same authenticity to TeinPro protein and energy bars. Yes, it supports performance, but it also considers the everyday demands we put our bodies through. This balance is truly great. I was in search for a healthy snack alternative and I am glad I am launching the perfect one!!”

Speaking about the protein bar and their brand vision, TeinPro’s leadership said, “We saw a gap between performance nutrition and everyday nutrition, and that’s how TeinPro was born.
