MICA | The School of Ideas has announced the return of Jagruti Kirloskar as Head – Global Alliances & Communications, marking her return to the institute in a new capacity.
In her new role, Kirloskar will lead MICA’s global alliances and communications, with a mandate focused on building international partnerships and driving the institute’s flagship institutional initiatives. Her remit will span both external collaborations and communication around key initiatives undertaken by the institute.
Announcing her appointment on LinkedIn, Kirloskar wrote: “Same School of Ideas, new chapter. Back at MICA as Head – Global Alliances & Communications.”
Kirloskar is an alumna of MICA, making the appointment a return to her alma mater. Her new mandate comes as the institute continues to expand its industry and international connect. MICA’s current positioning places emphasis on bringing together strategy, creativity, communication and technology, while its programmes and institutional initiatives continue to evolve around changing industry needs.
The institute has also been strengthening its global and institutional partnerships. In September 2026, MICA partnered with the Indira Gandhi National Centre for the Arts (IGNCA) to explore new approaches to cultural heritage branding.
With her new role, Kirloskar will work at the intersection of global alliances and communications, helping build MICA’s international relationships while shaping how its institutional initiatives are communicated to external stakeholders.
The appointment adds another layer to MICA’s focus on strengthening its external ecosystem as it continues to position itself around the intersection of creativity, management, communication and emerging technologies.
