Even the founder doesn’t get a free pass. Eternal has taken a playful route to promoting its new Eternal SBI Credit Card, using a full-page ad in The Times of India to poke fun at Deepinder Goyal and build intrigue around the limited-release card.
The bright red creative carries the line, “Sorry, Deepi, you won’t get it either.” But there’s a catch: “Unless you request for early access :)”. The tongue-in-cheek message turns the usual product announcement into a joke about access, with even the founder seemingly having to join the queue.

The ad announces a limited release of 5,000 cards and encourages readers to scan a QR code to request early access. Instead of leading with a list of card features, the creative uses a familiar name, a direct punchline and limited availability to grab attention.
The Eternal SBI Credit Card offers a flat 10% discount on Zomato and District, along with a minimum 5% discount on Blinkit. The offer connects the card to Eternal’s food delivery, quick-commerce and going-out platforms, while the print ad keeps the focus on getting access before the limited batch runs out.
The campaign’s humour extended to LinkedIn, where Zomato’s Marketing Head, Sahibjeet Singh Sawhney, shared the ad with the caption, “No exceptions, not even for our founder :).”
By turning a credit card launch into a playful dig at its own founder, Eternal gives the announcement a little more personality than the usual finance-focused print ad. The message is simple: 5,000 car
