Arun Pattnaik has stepped down as the Chief Marketing Officer (CMO) of Sprinklr after nearly four years in the role. During his tenure, he was responsible for rebuilding and scaling a global marketing organisation for the US-listed public company, managing operations from India.
Pattnaik has announced the shift via LinkedIn.
The company states that under Pattnaik’s leadership, Sprinklr’s revenue grew by approximately 75%. During this period, the marketing department expanded its responsibilities to include leading global Sales Development Representatives (SDR) and overseeing pricing and packaging. The brand also entered new market categories and showed improvements in profitability despite a changing global economic environment.
Pattnaik noted that his journey involved creating new functions from the ground up and transforming marketing into a growth-focused organisation. He expressed that while the business results were significant, the resilience and creativity of his team during difficult moments were the most meaningful aspects of his time at the company.
In an official statement, Pattnaik expressed gratitude to Sprinklr founder Ragy Thomas and the executive leadership team for the opportunity to lead the global function. He highlighted the accountability shown by his colleagues through various professional challenges over the last four years.
Regarding his next steps, Pattnaik shared that he will be taking a break from professional intensity to focus on personal health and family. He plans to use this time to reconnect with personal interests. He described this move as a pause to reflect and reset before starting his next professional chapter.
