Stripe has appointed Manish Maheshwari as Head of Revenue and Growth for India, strengthening its focus on helping Indian businesses scale globally. In his new role, Maheshwari will focus on enabling India-based businesses, especially AI-native and digital-first companies, to expand into global markets from day one
Maheshwari brings over two decades of experience across technology, internet platforms and startups. He has previously held leadership roles at companies like Twitter, Flipkart and Intuit, and has also founded Fanory.ai, an AI-led creator monetisation platform.
Maheshwari noted that India is becoming a key hub for building global companies, particularly in AI and digital sectors, where founders are increasingly targeting international markets from the outset. His appointment signals Stripe’s intent to play a larger role in powering this global ambition.
Paul Harapin, Head of Asia Pacific & Japan at Stripe, said, “As more businesses from India build for global audiences, they will require seamless infrastructure to manage payments, subscriptions, usage-based billing and revenue operations across borders. Manish brings deep experience across the Indian technology space, and we’re excited to have him lead our efforts to enable these businesses.”
Manish Maheshwari, said, “We see a large opportunity to support Indian businesses as they increasingly build for the world from day one. India is at the forefront of the AI shift, and we want to help these companies scale globally by providing the right financial infrastructure,”
