Rajeev Goyal has been elevated to Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Agri and New Energy businesses including Powerol at Mahindra & Mahindra. In the new role, he will lead the company’s growth plans across these businesses, with a focus on performance, innovation, and sustainability.
Goyal announced the update through a post via LinkedIn.
He moves into this position after a 20 year journey with Mahindra and Mahindra across the automotive and farm equipment businesses. Most recently, he served as CFO for the combined automotive and farm equipment business from April 2020 to April 2026. Before that, he was CFO of the automotive sector from April 2017 to March 2020.
Earlier, he worked as Senior Vice President Accounts and Finance from August 2013 to March 2017 in the automotive sector. He was Vice President Accounts and Finance for the farm equipment business from August 2008 to July 2013, and Senior General Manager for the farm equipment sector from March 2006 to July 2008.
Before Mahindra, he worked at Escorts as CGM Finance and Accounts from December 2002 to March 2006. He also held leadership roles at Escorts Finance, including Financial Controller and Head of Treasury from 1999 to 2002 and AVP Treasury from 1996 to 1999.
