Britannia Industries has announced key changes to its senior management team, appointing new leaders across sales and international business functions as part of its ongoing leadership strengthening efforts.
The company’s Board of Directors, at its meeting held on May 7, 2026, approved the elevation of Rahul Mahajan from National Sales Head – General Trade to Vice President – Sales, effective April 1, 2026. Britannia also appointed Chitwan Singh as Chief Business Officer – International Business, effective June 15, 2026.
Rahul Mahajan brings more than 22 years of experience in the FMCG sector across sales, distribution, and channel management. He has been associated with Britannia for over three years and currently leads the company’s general trade sales operations. Prior to joining Britannia, Mahajan held leadership roles at companies including Marico, L’Oréal India, Mondelez International, Bharti Airtel, Bharti Teletech, and JSW Dulux.
He holds a PGDBM from Management Development Institute, Gurgaon, and a degree in Chemical Engineering from Thapar Institute of Engineering & Technology.
Meanwhile, Chitwan Singh joins Britannia’s leadership team with over 25 years of global FMCG experience spanning India, Africa, and the United States. His expertise covers food, beauty, personal care, and home care categories, along with CEO-level leadership exposure.
Singh has previously worked with Godrej Consumer Products Limited (GCPL), Olam International, and Britannia Industries. At GCPL, he held several leadership positions, including CEO & Managing Director – North America & Nigeria and CEO – West Africa. Before that, he led Olam International’s packaged foods business across South Africa and Ghana, and earlier spent more than a decade at Britannia in various sales and marketing leadership roles.
He holds a PGDBM from S.P. Jain Institute of Management & Research, Mumbai, and a Mechanical Engineering degree from Delhi College of Engineering.
The appointments come as Britannia continues to strengthen its leadership bench across key business verticals, with a sharper focus on scaling domestic sales operations and expanding its international business presence.
