Clean label food brand Anveshan has raised Rs 150 crore in a Series B funding round led by Vertex Ventures Southeast Asia & India. The funding comes as demand for premium and minimally processed food products continues to grow across India. Anveshan operates in the clean-label food segment, focusing on traditional nutrition and transparent sourcing practices.

The round also included participation from International Finance Corporation, a member of the World Bank Group, Swiggy co-founder Sri Harsha Majety, and existing investors including Wipro Consumer Care Ventures, Titan Capital Winners Fund, Force Ventures, and boAt founders Aman Gupta and Sameer Mehta.

Funding to support expansion and growth targets

According to the company, the fresh capital will be used to strengthen manufacturing capabilities, expand product development efforts, and increase its presence across offline and digital sales channels.

Anveshan also plans to invest in procurement systems, quality infrastructure, and advanced testing capabilities while continuing to work with micro entrepreneurs and traditional producers across its supply chain.

Anveshan is currently operating at an annual run rate of Rs 280 crore to Rs 300 crore and is targeting revenue of more than Rs 1,000 crore over the next 24 to 30 months. As part of its growth strategy, the company plans to expand its atta portfolio, strengthen its owned digital platforms, scale its offline distribution network, and continue investing in product innovation and consumer experience initiatives.

Founded in 2020, Anveshan focuses on clean-label foods

Founded in 2020 by IIT Guwahati alumni Kuldeep Parewa, Akhil Kansal, and Aayushi Khandelwal, Anveshan has built its business around premium food products with an emphasis on minimal processing and sourcing transparency.

As per the company, it has developed a network of traditional producers and micro-entrepreneurs across India and operates in a category that has seen growing consumer interest in ingredient transparency, quality assurance, and traditional food products.

Commenting on the fundraiser, Kuldeep Parewa, Co-Founder & CEO, Anveshan, says, “For years, access to clean, authentic, and minimally processed food products in India has remained limited despite growing consumer awareness around health and nutrition. At Anveshan, we are working to bridge this gap by building a transparent food brand rooted in traditional Indian wisdom and trusted sourcing practices.”

He further added, “This investment will help us strengthen our manufacturing and sourcing ecosystem, expand into newer categories, and make high-quality clean food products accessible to a much larger consumer base across the country.”

Kanika Mayar, Partner, Vertex Ventures South East Asia and India, commented, “India’s food and nutrition market is premiumizing, with consumers seeking greater transparency, quality, and trust in the products they consume. Anveshan has been able to build strong consumer affinity by maintaining its core of traditional nutrition with a highly scalable and technology-enabled proprietary supply chain. We are excited to support the team in building a large and enduring consumer brand for the future.”
