India’s entertainment landscape is witnessing a shift as Abundantia Entertainment announced a strategic partnership with global AI video technology leader InVideo to launch a dedicated AI-driven film production studio.

The collaboration was unveiled at the India AI Film Festival (IAFF) in New Delhi held on the sidelines of the India AI Impact Summit and marks one of the largest structured commitments to AI-led cinema in India to date. Under the arrangement, the ₹100 crore corpus will be deployed to develop and produce a slate of five AI-powered feature films over the next three years, placing India at the forefront of generative AI experimentation in mainstream entertainment.

In a post shared on his LinkedIn profile, Vikram Malhotra, Founder & CEO of Abundantia Entertainment, expressed his enthusiasm about the collaboration with InVideo, underscoring the shift in filmmaking paradigms.

Similarly, Sanket Shah, Founder & CEO of InVideo, took to LinkedIn to share his excitement about the partnership, calling it a “transformational moment” for how films are created and experienced.

The initiative signals a broader industry trend as top studios and media houses increasingly explore AI in scripting, pre-visualization, VFX, and production design. Rather than replacing human roles, the technology is framed as a creative accelerator reducing costs and cycle times while broadening the artistic toolkit available to filmmakers.
