Anjali Gupta has joined the Election Commission of India (ECI) as Manager, Communications at the India International Institute of Democracy and Election Management (IIIDEM), where she will lead communication and outreach strategy for India’s chairship of International IDEA and IIIDEM initiatives.
She announced her appointment in a LinkedIn post.
Before joining the Election Commission of India in October 2026, Gupta worked with the Ministry of Information and Broadcasting as a Young Professional from December 2022 to December 2025.
Earlier, she was associated with Four Founders PR as Publicist & Co-Partner from June 2019 to November 2022. She also worked with Wunder Mobility as Public Relations and Communication Partner, India, from February to May 2019.
Before that, Gupta worked with Purple Media Works as Public Relations Executive from August 2017 to December 2018.
