Cleartrip, a Flipkart company, has launched Cleartrip Creators Club, a new affiliate programme designed to integrate creators directly into the travel booking journey and transform travel inspiration into measurable commerce.
The initiative marks a shift from traditional influencer marketing models that rely on one-time content collaborations. Instead, Cleartrip is positioning creators as long-term revenue partners through a performance-based commission structure, allowing them to earn from bookings generated through their content.
Unlike many creator programmes that require a minimum follower count, Cleartrip Creators Club is open to creators across categories and audience sizes. Eligibility is determined by engagement rather than follower numbers, enabling nano, micro, and regional creators to participate alongside larger influencers.
The launch comes at a time when social media is increasingly influencing travel decisions, particularly among Gen Z and millennial consumers. According to Cleartrip, travel discovery is now happening on social platforms long before users reach a booking website or app. The company believes creators have become a key driver of travel intent, especially in emerging markets beyond major metros.
One of the programme’s standout features is a Comment-to-DM automation tool. When users comment “TRIP” on a participating creator’s content, they automatically receive a direct message containing a pre-filled booking link and an exclusive Cleartrip coupon code. The feature is currently live across Instagram and YouTube.
Cleartrip says the programme has already shown promising results during its pilot phase. Regional creators accounted for nearly half of all content generated, highlighting the growing influence of local-language creators in shaping travel decisions. The company also reported strong engagement from creators across categories including beauty, lifestyle, food, and deal-focused content.
With a target of onboarding more than 10,000 creators by the end of 2026, Cleartrip is betting on the growing convergence of the creator economy and digital commerce. The initiative reflects a broader industry shift where brands are increasingly looking beyond reach and impressions, focusing instead on measurable business outcomes generated through creator-led content.
Speaking on the launch, Pallavi Saxena, Chief Marketing & Revenue Officer, Cleartrip, said “Gen Z has fundamentally changed how travel decisions are made. The intent and inspiration for a trip now begins on a social feed, and creators are at the centre of that shift. India’s next wave of travel growth will come from markets and audiences where creators hold more influence than any traditional channel. The launch of Cleartrip Creators Club gives them the infrastructure to turn every post into an income stream, and every booking into more inspiration. That flywheel is what we’re building.”
