Coca-Cola has announced the launch of Coca-Cola Matchday Hangout, a creator-led live football watch-along experience designed to bring fans together during the FIFA World Cup season.

The initiative aims to transform late-night football viewing into a shared digital experience, allowing fans to react to matches in real time, participate in discussions, and engage with creators throughout the tournament. The format will feature 12 national streams that tap into India’s growing football community and the increasingly social nature of sports consumption.

Produced and hosted by RevSportz, the live experience will be led by creators Rohan Joshi, Sakshi Shivdasani, and Kaashvi Hiranandani, with select appearances by Zervaan Bunshah, Varun Thakur, and footballer Dalima Chhibber.

The company has partnered with RevSportz to execute the experience, blending sports coverage with creator-led entertainment and fan interaction.

Coca-Cola said the initiative builds on its longstanding association with FIFA and seeks to create a community-driven experience around football fandom.

Fans can gain access to the watch-along streams by ordering a Coca-Cola through Zepto or Blinkit during match hours. Eligible purchases will unlock a chance to enter the live experience, which will include pre-match predictions, live reactions, halftime discussions, post-match debates, trivia contests, giveaways, and creator-led challenges.

Coca-Cola said access to each stream will be limited, creating an exclusive experience around key match nights. Participants will also have the opportunity to win branded merchandise, including mini fridges, caps, t-shirts, and sippers.

By taking a community-first approach, we’ve curated a live, creator-led experience, and partnering with RevSportz helps us seamlessly bring this interactive format directly to audiences.”
