The Duolingo English Test has launched a new campaign to mark its tenth anniversary, focusing on the experiences of students preparing to study abroad. Built around the theme ‘Built for What’s Next’, the campaign reflects on the milestones, challenges, and aspirations that shape the international education journey.
The campaign features a brand film that follows different stages of a student’s study abroad experience, including exam preparation, practice tests, test day, and receiving results. The film highlights the common experiences of students pursuing higher education overseas.
According to the company, the campaign is based on insights gathered over the past decade from students who have taken the Duolingo English Test. It aims to showcase how digital English proficiency testing has become part of the study-abroad process for learners from different countries and backgrounds.
Launched in 2016, the Duolingo English Test was introduced as an online alternative to traditional English language proficiency exams. The test is designed to offer a remote, digital assessment option for students applying to international universities.
The company said the test is now accepted by more than 6,500 university programmes worldwide.
