Ranveer Allahbadia has responded to Samay Raina’s recent remarks in the comedy special Still Alive, with a video clip of his reaction going viral online. The response comes after Raina made several jokes about Allahbadia in connection with the India’s Got Latent controversy.

In a recent paparazzi video shared by Shailesh Pandey, Allahbadia appeared calm and upbeat while interacting with the camera. When Raina’s name came up, he responded with a playful remark, “Kaun Samay?”, suggesting a focus on the present rather than the controversy. He also spoke about staying positive and maintaining a sense of humour.

Raina’s special revisited the fallout from the India’s Got Latent episode, where a controversial remark led to widespread criticism, multiple complaints, and the removal of episodes from YouTube. In the set, he referred to the backlash he faced, while also saying that the response to Allahbadia may have gone too far.

The controversy first broke out in February 2025 after Allahbadia, Ashish Chanchlani and Apoorva Mukhija appeared on Raina’s show. The episode drew strong backlash online after an offensive content, leading to FIRs being filed against all creators involved, followed by public apologies. Later, the court allowed Allahbadia to resume his podcast, while Raina has now confirmed that India’s Got Latent will return with a second season.
