Digital healthcare platform Practo has appointed Srijesh Kumar as its Global Chief Product and Technology Officer (CPTO), signalling a stronger push towards artificial intelligence (AI)-driven innovation and global expansion.
Kumar, a former executive at Salesforce, will lead Practo’s product and technology functions end-to-end, aligning engineering, data, and product teams under a unified structure as the company enters its next phase of growth. He will be responsible for strengthening platform architecture, accelerating product innovation, and leveraging Practo’s extensive healthcare data to deliver measurable outcomes.
In his new role, Kumar is expected to embed intelligence across Practo’s platform from discovery and decision-making to treatment and follow-ups creating a more seamless and outcome-driven healthcare experience.
His mandate also includes building scalable systems that can support Practo’s global ambitions while improving efficiency for both patients and healthcare providers.
Kumar brings over two decades of experience in product engineering and platform development. At Salesforce, he led product engineering for industry cloud offerings, focusing on large-scale enterprise solutions.
He has also held leadership roles at Expedia Group and worked with global technology firms such as Adobe and Microsoft, contributing to large-scale platform and product development.
The leadership appointment comes amid Practo’s broader strategy to scale globally and deepen its technology capabilities. The company operates a healthcare platform connecting patients with over 700,000 doctors across more than 2,400 cities worldwide.
