Rare Rabbit has entered the travel gear segment through a strategic partnership with Escape Plan, unveiling two premium luggage collections, Gallardo and Tony aimed at modern Indian travellers seeking design-led travel accessories.
The move marks Rare Rabbit’s expansion beyond menswear and lifestyle apparel as the brand looks to strengthen its presence across adjacent premium lifestyle categories.
Developed in collaboration with Escape Plan, the Gallardo collection features sculpted hard-shell luggage with matte finishes, geometric panel detailing, and gun metal accents across the trolley system, pullers, logo plate, and wheel elements. The collection is available in Dark Blue, Carbon Black, and Dark Grey across Cabin, Medium, and Large sizes.
The company said the luggage is designed with features including a scratch-resistant matte shell, reinforced corners, 360-degree spinner wheels, an integrated TSA lock, and organised interior storage systems with zippered dividers, compression straps, removable toiletry compartments, and hanger modules.
Alongside Gallardo, the partnership also introduced Tony, a diagonally textured matte luggage collection positioned around understated luxury and architectural-inspired detailing. The range incorporates gold-finish hardware elements, diagonal textures, translucent wet pouches, and coordinated dual-compartment interiors designed for organised travel packing.
Commenting on the expansion, Manish Poddar said the company sees the move as a natural extension of its evolving lifestyle ecosystem. “Rare has always had a distinct point of view on design, craftsmanship and what premium should truly feel like. Our consumer has evolved with us, and their sense of style extends far beyond the wardrobe, it travels with them. Through our partnership with Escape Plan, we are bringing the Rare design philosophy into a new category, with the same creative rigor, attention to detail and long-term vision that have shaped our brand. This is a natural extension of our lifestyle universe, where every touchpoint reflects the individuality and aspirations of our consumer,” he said.
Abhinav Pathak said the collaboration reflects the growing opportunity within India’s premium travel accessories market. “The travel space in India is growing very rapidly, but the high-end luggage market is still very function driven. We believe there is a huge opportunity to create a design-led, aspirational brand that blends performance and identity. Partnering with Rare Rabbit enables us to combine strong fashion equity with deep category expertise and omni-channel scale. Together, we are shaping a premium travel platform that is both commercially robust and culturally relevant for modern Indian consumers,” he said.
