Victoria’s Secret has appointed Triptii Dimri as its first-ever Indian brand ambassador, marking a key milestone in the brand’s India strategy. Alongside the announcement, the company has unveiled a teaser for its upcoming Summer Signature campaign, signalling a stronger push toward localised storytelling and cultural relevance.
Conceptualised and executed by Makani Creatives, the campaign is anchored in themes of self-expression, confidence, and modern femininity. The digital film introduces Dimri as the face of the brand in India, placing her at the centre of a narrative that reflects evolving consumer attitudes around individuality and comfort.
The teaser, shared by Dimri on social media, features her across multiple looks styled by Anaita Shroff Adjania, moving seamlessly between sleepwear, casual silhouettes, and statement fashion. The film is driven by a voiceover that reinforces the campaign’s core message: “Ready for something iconic. To me, being sexy is not just about looks, it’s about confidence, it’s how comfortably you carry yourself and who you truly are.”
Sharing his thoughts on the Summer Signature campaign by Victoria’s Secret, Sameer Makani, Director, Makani Creatives Pvt Ltd, said, “Victoria’s Secret first ambassador campaign in India was about more than visibility, it’s about connection. We’ve evolved the brand narrative from ‘distant’ to ‘driven,’ focusing on how Indian women actually define confidence today. It’s an elevated yet authentic approach that finally makes the Victoria’s Secret brand message resonate with the Indian audience.”
The Summer Signature campaign is expected to roll out across digital platforms in phases, building on this initial teaser and expanding the narrative further. It also reflects the brand’s broader global shift toward a more inclusive, individual-led approach to fashion, now being adapted for the Indian market.
