Shoyu and Heads Up For Tails (HUFT) have partnered to mark National Pet Day with a limited edition hamper designed for both pet parents and their pets. The collaboration brings together a cloud kitchen brand and a pet care company to create a shared dining experience delivered to customers’ homes.
The hamper includes two separate components. For pet parents, it features Shoyu’s Pan Asian meal offering. For pets, it includes a specially developed companion sushi made using pet safe ingredients such as unseasoned chicken or fish, plain rice and vegetables. The product is designed to visually resemble sushi while meeting basic dietary considerations for pets.
In addition to food, the hamper also includes pet accessories and a service element. HUFT has added a bandana and a pet spa coupon as part of the package, extending the experience beyond a single meal.
The collaboration is based on the observation that pets are increasingly part of everyday routines, including mealtimes, in urban households. Both brands are positioning the initiative as a way to reflect that shift through a combined offering that caters to both pets and their owners.
