Prime Video & Amazon MGM Studios have appointed Baishali Chatterjee as the Head of Communications, India, reinforcing their communications leadership as the company continues to expand its content and entertainment business in the country.
In her new role, Chatterjee will lead strategic communications for Prime Video and Amazon MGM Studios in India. She will oversee corporate and brand communications, public relations, reputation management, executive communications and stakeholder engagement across the streaming platform and the studio’s operations in the country.
Chatterjee brings over two decades of experience in corporate communications, media relations and brand reputation management across the media, entertainment and technology sectors.
Before joining Prime Video & Amazon MGM Studios, she served as Director – Communications at Warner Bros. Discovery India, where she led external and corporate communications for the company’s entertainment, sports and streaming portfolio. During her tenure, she played a key role in shaping communications around major content launches, corporate announcements and business initiatives.
Her previous stints also include leadership roles at Viacom18, Discovery Communications, Perfect Relations, and other organisations, where she worked across integrated communications, crisis management, corporate storytelling and strategic public relations.
Announcing the move on LinkedIn, Chatterjee shared that she was excited to begin a new chapter with Prime Video & Amazon MGM Studios and looked forward to contributing to the company’s storytelling journey in India.
