FiatPe has been named the Official Payments Partner for Mumbai Indians. The collaboration highlights the growing need for dependable payment infrastructure in high-traffic environments such as live sporting events.

As part of the partnership, FiatPe will facilitate digital payment acceptance across matchday venues, enabling merchants to process transactions through integrated QR codes, POS devices, and card-based solutions. Its systems are built to deliver consistent performance during peak transaction periods, helping businesses manage high demand effectively.

Designed to handle heavy transaction volumes without disruption, FiatPe’s infrastructure ensures smooth operations even during the busiest match moments. Meanwhile, Mumbai Indians continues to prioritise a seamless and hassle-free fan experience across all touchpoints.

“Delivering a seamless fan experience requires dependable infrastructure across every aspect of matchday operations, including payments. We are pleased to partner with FiatPe, whose robust technology will help ensure fast, reliable and frictionless transactions across the matchday environment for our valued fans,” said a Mumbai Indians spokesperson.

“In environments like live matches, payments are not a feature, they are a system that everything else depends on. When queues build and transaction volumes rise, what matters is consistency and predictability. This association with Mumbai Indians is meaningful for us, as it reflects the trust placed in our infrastructure to perform when it is needed most. That is how we think about payments at FiatPe, as systems that quietly hold commerce together” said Anshuman Dhadeech, Founder, FiatPe
