Karthik Srinivasan has been appointed as Chief Executive Officer (CEO) at Religare Finvest, where he will lead the company’s lending business and growth strategy as it looks to scale operations with a renewed focus on SME financing.
The company announced the appointment through a post via LinkedIn.
Srinivasan joined Religare Finvest in May 2026 after spending more than a decade at HDB Financial Services. Most recently, he served as Chief Business Officer (CBO) from May 2021 to May 2026, leading business operations and portfolio growth. Prior to that, he was Head of Sales Finance and Customer Digital Experience from December 2015 to May 2021.
Before joining HDB Financial Services, he worked at Mphasis as Senior Vice President and Head of Banking and Capital Markets BPO from August 2014 to September 2015.
Earlier, he spent nine years at Serco Global Services, where Srinivasan held the roles of Chief Operating Officer (COO) from January 2012 to August 2014 and Deputy Chief Operating Officer from September 2005 to December 2011, leading banking, financial services and hospitality operations across multiple international markets.
Prior to this, Srinivasan worked at Datamatics Technologies as Vice President – Transaction Processing from 2003 to 2005. He was also Co Founder of Zeus Systems from 2000 to 2003. Earlier in his career, Srinivasan worked at Bank of America as Assistant Vice President from 1997 to 2000 and at ICICI Ltd as Manager from June 1995 to April 1997.
