Tata Power Renewable Energy Limited (TPREL) has launched its latest campaign, ‘Choose Power That Protects Earth’, on the occasion of Earth Day 2026, focusing on how everyday energy choices can shape a more sustainable future.
The campaign uses a split-screen storytelling format to contrast two parallel realities, one dependent on conventional, resource-intensive energy systems, and the other powered by integrated renewable solutions. Through this narrative, the film highlights the tangible impact of adopting cleaner energy alternatives across sectors.
Spanning multiple real-world scenarios, the campaign showcases applications of renewable technologies including solar power, wind energy, microgrids, EV charging infrastructure, and Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS). These solutions are presented across industries, rural communities, mobility ecosystems, and residential spaces to demonstrate how renewable energy is transforming access, reliability, and efficiency in India.
The film illustrates contrasts such as industrial clusters facing power disruptions under traditional grids versus facilities supported by solar and storage solutions ensuring uninterrupted operations. It also highlights rural regions dealing with inconsistent electricity supply compared to communities enabled by decentralised microgrids, as well as urban congestion driven by fuel-based mobility against cleaner electric alternatives.
Beyond environmental benefits, the campaign positions renewable energy as a practical solution, emphasising its role in delivering reliable power, reducing costs, and enabling scalable energy systems. It also highlights use cases such as rooftop solar for households, smart energy management systems, and EV ecosystems aimed at improving efficiency and lowering the cost of mobility.
With this campaign, Tata Power Renewables underscores its integrated clean energy ecosystem while encouraging individuals, businesses, and communities to actively participate in the transition towards sustainable energy.
