AbhiBus has launched a new advertising campaign featuring actor and choreographer Prabhu Deva as the online bus ticketing platform looks to highlight transparency and reliability in intercity bus travel bookings.
The campaign uses a transparent bus as its central visual concept to represent the company’s focus on providing users with more detailed information before booking. Through a series of films set around everyday travel situations, the campaign highlights concerns commonly faced by bus passengers, including uncertainty around bus quality, safety and service reliability.
The advertisements also showcase several platform features, including 360 degree bus photos, safety related information, bus condition details and the company’s Abhi Assured service. AbhiBus has additionally highlighted its roadside assistance feature, under which passengers can receive alternate cab support in case of a bus breakdown during travel.
The films combine humour and entertainment with product messaging, using Prabhu Deva’s screen presence to communicate the platform’s focus on predictability and customer support during journeys. The recurring campaign line positions transparency as both access to travel information and operational accountability after the booking process.
The campaign comes at a time when online bus booking platforms are increasingly competing on user experience, service assurance and customer trust, beyond route availability and pricing. Companies in the segment are adding more information led and support driven features as competition in India’s intercity mobility market continues to grow.
