ADbhoot has rolled out a new campaign for CottonKing’s premium linen range, Aura, focusing on the fabric rather than a narrative-heavy storyline.
The newly unveiled campaign is built as a cinematic visual experience that foregrounds linen in its purest form, its texture, fall, movement, and understated elegance. Instead of constructing an elaborate narrative around the product, the film captures intimate, tactile details: the visible weave of the fabric, the way it responds to light, and how it moves naturally with the body and the wind. The result is a sensory-led piece of storytelling that feels both elevated and authentic.
At the heart of the campaign lies a nuanced use of artificial intelligence not as a spectacle, but as a silent craft tool. In an industry where AI is often used to grab attention, ADbhoot has intentionally kept it invisible. The technology has been deployed to ensure precision and consistency across frames, maintaining continuity in model features, refining lighting behaviour, and achieving realistic physics without ever distracting from the product.
Vaibhav Pandit, Founder & Creative Director, ADbhoot, said “AI is powerful only when it doesn’t announce itself. For Aura, our intent was clear. The fabric needed to feel tangible, the lighting needed to behave naturally, and the model had to remain authentic throughout.
The organic way of using AI was the key, as a craft tool, and not a shortcut. We didn’t shape the brief around AI; we shaped AI around the brief. Since the entire production was executed in-house, we could push for tighter control, stronger continuity, and sharper detail until the output felt seamless.”
Koushik Marathe, Director, CottonKing, said “With Aura, our vision was clear: to create a premium linen range that feels elevated not just in look, but in experience. Today’s consumer notices the smallest details, how a fabric falls, how it moves, how it retains its finish throughout the day. Linen is a fabric of character – it breathes, it moves, and it carries a distinct elegance that can’t be replicated. This campaign captures that essence beautifully. What worked for us was ADbhoot’s clarity on both the category and the consumer. They approached the film with a sharp sense of strategy and storytelling, while also being deeply involved in the making, ensuring every detail stayed true to the product. The result feels contemporary and aligned with what ‘Aura’ stands for.”
