BIODERMA, a NAOS brand, has launched a new campaign titled #WontLetAcneWin as part of Acne Awareness Month, aiming to spark conversations around the emotional and social impact of acne among young consumers.
The campaign introduces the concept of “Acne Exile“ a term used by the brand to describe the subtle ways acne can influence everyday behaviour. From avoiding photographs and staying off social media to cancelling plans or withdrawing from social situations, the campaign highlights how acne can affect confidence beyond visible skin concerns.
At the centre of the initiative is a campaign film that captures these often-overlooked experiences, bringing attention to the emotional realities that can accompany acne. Through the campaign, BIODERMA seeks to encourage consumers to remain present for important life moments rather than allowing acne to shape their decisions or self-perception.
Through #WontLetAcneWin, BIODERMA is positioning its Sébium range as a partner in helping consumers “face acne right,” while broadening the conversation around acne to include its emotional and psychological effects.
“Acne is far more than a skin condition; it’s quietly shaping how young Indians show up in their everyday lives. With #WontLetAcneWin, BIODERMA is addressing a side of acne that often goes unspoken: the emotional toll, the moments missed, the confidence deferred. Our campaign doesn’t just acknowledge ‘Acne Exile’ it challenges it.” said Roshan Kunder, Director Marketing, eCommerce & Modern Trade, NAOS India
“At NAOS by combining dermatological expertise with barrier-respecting care through our Sébium Anti Acne range, we’re empowering consumers to face acne right and reclaim the moments that matter. Because confidence shouldn’t be conditional, and skin health shouldn’t come at the cost of comfort. This Acne Awareness Month, BIODERMA stands with young India to say: your acne won’t define your choices. You will.” he added.
